New Year’s Eve! December 31st never looked so good! Many have wanted this year to end. The transiting Moon is in Scorpio when we awaken. It goes void-of-course from 11:57 a.m. PST to 5:21 p.m. PST, when it gallops into Sagittarius in the evening. The first two-thirds of the day are spent in intense Scorpio. What an intense year this has been! It has been the run up to 2011, which is going to ask absolute transformation from all of us. If you have managed to survive this year, you’ll have the tools and maturity to deal with 2011; so not to worry. This year has put everyone through their paces to find where we are strong and where we are weak. Be sure to look for my General 2011 Astrology Forecast on www.medicinegarden.com The aspects are mostly lovely for our celebration of welcoming in the new year and relief at getting through 2010 with our lives. Moon is conjunct Venus and we’ll have a lovely breakfast. Optimism reigns! As things progress toward noon, Moon is trine Jupiter. If you’re having a party, things are moving along without problems. Don’t drink and drive. If you’re spending time at work instead, things are going to be so easy it will make even the grinchiest person among us smile. When you get home, be ready for a NICE surprise! With the Moon in Sagittarius, everyone is up for celebration and partying and dancing. Wheeeee….. If you’re having a party tonight, you’ll have very happy guests. This is a great way to end the year. Now….on to January, 2011. NOTE: This is the last forecast I’ll be putting up. This has given you a sample of what you’ll find in my Astro Forecast subscription. You’ll find January 2011 Astro Forecast up at my website, too. You can sign up by scrolling down on the front page of my above website. Happy New Year :-)
Let’s quietly and carefully celebrate December 29th! Mercury goes direct and so the glutted backlog of all forms of transportation finally get unplugged like chronic cosmic constipation and FLOW! But that doesn’t happen until near midnight, PST. That means that no matter how many Fleet enemas you give the blocked, constipated transportation grid, it ain’t gonna unblock. The whole day, instead, is going to be like the finals tests of Job from the Bible: how many tests do you want to find out if you can maintain your faith? You’ll find out today, unfortunately. The Moon is void-of-course in Libra from 7:05 a.m. PST until about 12:49 P.M., and then goes into emotionally intense Scorpio. That means for East Coast airports and their unraveled human cargo who are being told they don’t have flights until December 31st or in the first week of January, 2011, things continue at a standstill. Just add three hours to above info and you’ll have that vacuum time on the East Coast. Mars is square Saturn early in the morning so breakfast is no picnic for anyone. This is a nasty, nasty aspect and it’s about not having any more patience. Tempers are off the handle and real rage takes over. Impatience rules. Anger rules. FRUSTRATION is going to boil over everywhere. It will be worse at airports around the world or other travel venues that have been paralyzed. And so this energy is hovering around us all day long. This has been building the last two days of course, and the cork pops off today—big time. Then, it gets terrifically intense as Moon sextiles Pluto. This can be a form of relief instead of the opposite since it is a soft aspect. It could be that a lot of planes stuck on the tarmac finally get the go ahead to take off. This aspect alone will start the trickle of relief…but it’s not going to be enough or soon enough. With Mercury finally pulling direct near midnight PST time, it means transportation will finally start moving…but it’s going to be slow. It takes Mercury at least 5-7 days to sort itself out and to get up and running at top speed. That means airports around the world are finally going to be back to “normal” by January 7, 2011. You heard it here first. For the rest of us, this is an excellent, hard working day where you’re going to see a lot of results. For many, it means the last day to catch up on a back log of work or something you wanted to finish, but didn’t have the time to do so. Remain patient today and it will pay off. Keep yourself quietly centered and you’ll float over the debris of Life without too many bumps. Ideas are going to start filtering to the surface too, so look for seed ideas for the New Year!
December 28 is continuing to see horrendous traffic closures and obstacles. The Moon is still in feisty war and peace Libra. Moon square Mars at noon, PST, is going to put everyone into the Grinch mode. Tempers will flare. Irritations will quadruple. No one is feeling the Christmas spirit any more. How sad. And it’s a day of accidents. Pay attention to your driving and walking or you could slip and hurt yourself. But it’s the day before Mercury goes direct, so the cosmic hammer comes down and really sits on all forms of transportation—big time. No one is going anywhere fast. Plus, weather is going to be atrocious and out of the ordinary (think blizzards here), floods and ice storms. There’s more war energy here today than peace and harmony. Moon is conjunct Saturn, so this means that some airports on the East coast are coming out of being paralyzed by the blizzard but now one is going anywhere fast. Many people will be lucky to leave by the 30th from their entrapment away from home. Still, with Moon sextile Mercury a 7:11 p.m., PST, the transportation industry is going to groan forward a few more steps. And it is the day before Mercury goes direct, so the energy is really stasis and static and stuck. Good day for the rest of us to do filing, cleaning, and getting rid of pack rat tendencies. We will see progress! Roll up your sleeves and get busy; we can accomplish a lot today.
December 27 is Monday and the Moon slips into Libra, the planet of war and peace. Libra energy can get in your face. It’s not always the nice, polite diplomat. Although, I must say, diplomacy will win the day today, and not going ballistic. Many will want to choose the latter, unfortunately. It’s NOT a good day for travel. If you can avoid this, do. If you are stuck at an airport, you’ll continue to be. Make other plans or get a hotel room because that’s as good as its going to get under the circumstances. Mercury retrograde will be remembered for a long time. It doesn’t go direct until 12.29.2010 and until then, transportation of all kinds, around the world, is going to be snarled and stopped in its tracks. Moon is opposed Jupiter/Uranus. This is clearly time for attacks, an air disaster or an earthquake. If you are traveling, expect the unexpected and be ready to camp out in airports because it’s gonna happen. Further, those going through airports you may get confronted by authority—big time. Don’t argue; you’ll lose. Moon is square Pluto at 6:24 p.m. PST, and this is the bully coming out to make our lives miserable. Authority asserts itself in our face. And later in the evening, Moon is square Sun, so our emotions are going to be on a roller coaster and we aren’t feeling very happy about anything at this point. The day we have to go to work after a holiday is tough enough, but many who decided to fly or drive to visit relatives, will find this was a bad choice. They are stuck and won’t be making their Monday job at all. For the rest of us that were smart and stayed home, your day is full of ups and downs, but nothing you can’t handle. At least you are home. And the weather isn’t bad all over; just on the East Coast of the USA. We can get a lot done today, and there might be a NICE surprise in all of this too. If you talk with your boss or authority, be calm and firm. You’ll end the day glad to sit down to a dinner with family. You won’t be stuck at an airport, so life is good.
December 26 is Kwanzaa for all our African friends. If you are starting out traveling home, the Moon is in Virgo. Remember the details. Double check your flight isn’t canceled or behind. Moon is trine Mars, so many flights can take off and hopefully, not fall too far behind schedule. In the early afternoon Moon is sextile Venus, so everyone is in a GOOD mood. Yippee! But then, Sun conjuncts Pluto in early evening and some of you may have confrontations with those in authority. This is particularly true on the East Coast where a blizzard is in progress and people who expected to fly home for the holidays are not going to make it on time. Tempers will flare. And confrontations will occur. Or, you may have to deal with a bully. And to add salt to the wounds, Moon squares Mercury shortly after that and it means cancellation of your flight or a detour. Either way, it sucks. With Mercury continuing to be retrograde, travel around the world continues to be constipated. Maybe the one aha that will come out of this—and I said this in my forecast—is do not travel during the Holiday. Choose another time to see your relations and you won’t get sidelined with winter snows. Once burned, hopefully, once learned. We’ll see. For the rest of the world, the day after Christmas, we’re starting to look around and decide what needs to be thrown out, given away or cleaned up. It’s a Mercury retrograde kind of mind. Preparation for the New Year coming up shortly.
December 25. Merry Christmas! The Moon goes into Virgo today, so they and Pisces people are the most affected energetically by today’s aspects. That said, Moon is opposed Neptune, so this means not many people are getting a good night’s sleep…insomnia rules. Or, just the opposite…you are going to sleep so deeply it’s going to be tuff to get up in the morning. The day improves despite this with Moon trine Sun in the early afternoon. This is goodwill energy from the heart being sprinkled across the Earth by the cosmos. Everyone wakes up happy and full of hope! Family harmony will take the place of irritations that enevitably crop up when you get together. However, in the early evening, Moon is trine Pluto, so there are going to be some highly emotionally intense talks between family members. Be prepared for the family skeletons to be dragged out. The good news is this is healthy and with a trine present, it bodes well that some healing can take place. That is a gift to every member in the family. Healing is the major energy of the today. That and transformation. It is preparing us for a New Year, a 22/4 Master Number year. Let’s all evolve together and move into our heart of hearts. Blessings at the Winter Solstice. Happy Holidays.
December 24 is Christmas Eve for the Christian community. The Moon is in Leo all day. Fire means energy! And Leo loves to party….lots of pre-Christmas parties today! Drink responsibly. There may be a cosmic gift for those who are traveling and been hitting so many snags…..The moon is trine Mercury in the early evening, so this means if you’ve suffered from cancellations, getting bumped or bad weather, that you will make it to your destination by this evening! THAT is a gift for poor Europe and parts of the USA. Moon is sextile Saturn and for those families who are now together, there may be sad talk or grieving about recently passed older relatives. Remembering the past, good and bad. It is a somber day with bittersweet and happy memories all mixed in. Further, Moon is square Venus at breakfast, and this can indicate a spat between loved ones or a parent and a child. Or, if you’re baking pies….watch them carefully or they could burn. The holidays bring out the family Shadow, and this will be one of those times. Try to treat this as a healing, not something to be continued to be shoved under the family closet door where all the skeletons still reside. Compassion is the watch word here. By noon, PST, it will dilute and you can get on with calling friends and family. It is a day to tell those you love and like, just how much you appreciate them. The question for the day is: how is each individual in your life a GIFT TO YOU? Feel your way through that, because ultimately, the Holiday spirit isn’t about getting or giving physical gifts. It’s really much deeper and broader than that. We’re all bound to one another energetically. What is the quality of energy between you and them? How can it be improved? Have you told that person how much they mean in your life? People love to hear how they are a light in your life. The gift of sincerity and love is truly a gift of the finest kind because it can’t be bought or sold. Also, go out of your way to see how you can practice what I call ACTIVE COMPASSION. Does a child need help? An elder a hand down a snowy set of steps? Someone out on the street asking for help? See what you can do today to truly LIVE and BE the Christmas spirit as it was truly intended. Merry Christmas Eve!
December 23 has no aspects. At least in PST time zone. Elsewhere in the world, due to time, that won’t be so But here, on the West Coast, it is a no-aspect day. This means, quite literally, you can make the day what you WANT it to be. If you want it to be grumpy, then everyone will mirror that back to you. Or, if you want to be happy, then you’ll receive that back, instead. The choice is yours. The Moon goes into Leo today, so Leo and Aquarian’s, make up your minds to see positive outcomes to today—especially the traveling ones—and it will be so. This is a day where miracles occur. Or where you feel absolutely no sense of rudder on yourself. The Cosmos has a way of bringing up a prepared ‘to-do’ list for vacuum days like this; so it’s not really a day off. The weather on the West Coast is going to concentrate people’s focus on the flood and cleaning out and up from it. Where heavy snowfall is accumulating cross the mid-part of the U.S. there’s snow things to do. This is also a fantastic day, if you have time, to meditate. There are no energy distractions as usual…just a clear, open channel. I hope you have time to sit down for twenty minutes and give yourself this quiet, inner time. Create a wonderful day!
December 22nd is a very good day compared to the last week. Even though there’s going to be flight delays and nightmare cancellation scenarios, this day bodes well for getting closer to getting a plane to travel to your destination. There will be a few flights out of Heathrow today, with more this afternoon. If you got part way home, today you will get home! With the trines between Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus this is going to be a rare window of opportunity to this entire month. The Moon is in Cancer all day. So Cancer and Capricorn people will be getting their fair share of the cosmic fairy dust! But they are also the eye of the storm. And if you’re a Cancer/Cap stuck in an airport, then you may not be seeing your family as badly as you want. Just hang in there and be patient. With today’s aspects, things ARE going to lighten up, you will see light at the end of the tunnel and things are going to clickity clack down the railroad track of life for many of us. Lots of hard work today with Saturn around, but it will not only be productive, but satisfying to you. Remember to practice your compassion today. See what you can do to hold open a door for an elder, or help a woman with her packages, or give a smile to a man/woman who needs it. This is how we practice our compassion….in small ways. All we have to do is stay alert as to when and how we can be of assistance to someone who needs it.
December 21, Tuesday, is the Winter Solstice, which has a lot of power on its own. This time, it is connected with a full moon Lunar Eclipse at 29 Gemini. It occurred at 12:13 a.m., PST. Eclipses they are always about emotional blow outs—big time. Please read my article on this for in-depth details. The Sun goes into Capricorn today and that means for all of you Cappies, there’s emphasis on changes in your lives. For the next thirty days, the Sun travels your sign. This is always powerful, positive and good for you. Moon is opposed Pluto, and this rules terrorists, bullies and people in authority who abuse their power. Confrontation today with a capital “C.” So stand strong if you must face down someone who is misusing their authority. Mercury is square Jupiter and this means travel is nothing but a messy snarl. Europe is paralyzed with the largest “snowstorm in a century.” And this close to Christmas, the people who are in travel mode are now in “wait” mode. Add to this toxic mix, Moon is opposed Mars, so people are at their wits ends and are irritable, angry and likely to get abusive verbally or physically if they can’t control themselves. Revolts, war and attacks aren’t out of the question. Best to keep a low profile, hold on to what’s left of your patience and persevere This is also a day when there can be terrorist attacks anywhere in the world. For those of us who have a strong connection to Mom Earth, it is her “winter birthday” today. Why not think of throwing out some bird seed to the winter birds in your area? Suet is the perfect gift for birds in winter areas because fat is will keep them warm. Feed the local population to keep them strong and healthy throughout the winter? Or, just mentally thank Mom Earth for putting up with us, as one of her many children and loving us despite ourselves. Another test day to try and be compassionate instead of working out of our lower three chakras. Rise to the heart level and see how much easier you can float through this day.
December 20, Monday, is a super busy day. And the Moon is in Gemini all day, so the emphasis is on TRAVEL. Bad weather is going to hit places hard in the USA/Europe and that doesn’t bode well for air travelers. There’s a lot of friction, stumbling blocks or building blocks, depending upon what is thrown at you and how you respond to it. There’s some nasty suprises in mid-afternoon with Mercury (god of Travel) squaring Uranus (airplanes) and with Mercury retrograde, this is going to be a bummer for those traveling. Also, accidents on the ground and in the air are going to occur. Break down of equipment is big. Warring nations are going to get feisty and possibly ‘fight back.’ Revolution and rebellion are in the air. People are angry. There’s going to be major delays and cancellations. Add to this Moon square Jupiter and Uranus fueled with this eclipse tomorrow, and you have the perfect recipe for “going postal”, losing your temper and airing aggression. The good news is if you are patient, Moon trine Saturn, remain in your core and not get drawn into the dramas, Moon trine Neptune, there’s a possiblity you can win the day. Keep a positive outlook and having faith; it can all work for you. Gemini’s and Sagittarian’s are most affected because of the Moon’s location today. We are only one day away from a world shattering Full Moon eclipse at 29 Gemini on the Winter Solstice. It has been over half a century since the last one occurred and this one is huge. It’s going to REBOOT the world. Quite literally. It has a year from 12.21.2010 through 12.21.2011 to accomplish this feat. Please read my blog I put up yesterday on what you can expect on it at: http://talesfromechocanyon.blogspot.com
Full Moon Lunar eclipse on the Winter Solstice: What Does It Mean?
Hi Everyone I’ve just posted a blog on the coming eclipse/solstice that will take place on December 21, 2010. The last time this happened (an eclipse on the Winter solstice) was 1554 A.D. Find out what it means for you because THIS is an important cosmic event that will affect everyone on this planet for the coming year (through December 21, 2011)!! Be educated. Prepared. And that way, you can make healthy choices for yourself!! http://talesfromechocanyon.blogspot.com
December 19, Sunday, is a busy day because Sun is conjunct Mercury. Expect many short trips today. If not by car, in your heard for sure. Expect a lot of cell phone calls either by you or to you. Gemini and Sagittarians are the center of this bulls eye. Remember, Mercury IS retrograde…..you won’t find a parking place, either. You can see millions hurrying to the shopping malls to do the last minute shopping—and it’s gonna be crowded. The Moon is in Gemini, so it’s a multitasking day, lots of short trips and fast walking. People are in a HURRY. They are impatient. There’s so many reasons to have done your Holiday shopping long before this. Because, today, you pay the full price. The pressure is building on the coming Lunar Eclipse on the 21st, so people aren’t going to be very understanding about much at all. With the full moon energy building, our own body reacts to it. How? The tides and fluids of the body are at their highest the five days before the actual Full Moon—never mind it is an eclipse too. The fluids in the brain are squeezing the brain and this is where people get nasty, angry, raging and pop off without any reason you can see. It’s all about fluid trapped beneath the skull and putting pressure on the soft brain tissue. Set your own temper dial to CHILL and don’t get run over by a cart full of Christmas toys. Or distracted parents. Or people out of their body, because they will be. And then you have the narcissistic types who are only concerned about “me” and certainly, not “you.” I look at days like this as spiritual test days for myself. How will I react to the person who has no outer awareness of anyone but him/herself? It’s my opportunity to grow. Plus, people in that type of conundrum need our compassion and understanding. If they run over your foot with a car wheel, they should be held accountable….but it can be done in such a way that individual doesn’t flare back at you with anger. These people always see themselves as victims. IF you have to go out shopping today….remain aware and alert. Smile instead of snarl. Practice patience instead of behaving like a four year old. See what kindness you can do for someone who is clearly needing a bit of help. THAT is the Christmas spirit that should be practiced not only this month, but all year ‘round…
December 18th will make you feel like you’ve been shot out of a cannon. First with Moon sextile Neptune, your night was alive with dreams. You had a deep sleep, however and are girded for the day ahead. The Moon is in Taurus until 1:36 p.m. PST and moves into fleet, multitasking Gemini. Not only that, but Mercury, who is retrograde, trips back into fiery Sagittarius. Lots of energy around today because the Moon is in a fire sign. Sag’s are going Mach 3 with their hair on fire while Mercury is in their sign. Expect short trips, lots of emails and computer chatting. Talk about hauling back on the reins and sliding to a stand still! Moon is sextile Jupiter around 10:24 a.m., PST, and everyone is a happy, upbeat mood. Watch your pennies and don’t overspend under this aspect. Then Sun squares Uranus a few minutes earlier and we get a shock and a surprise. With the Jupiter aspect, it won’t be terribly traumatic, thank goodness. Jupiter is acting like a guardian angel to cantankerous Uranus. The Moon squares Neptune shortly after noon PST. Watch that you get the real deal if you’re shopping today and not a knockoff. It could happen. Deception is out there. So are half truths and full lies. Check your gut on the person/place or thing and follow that instead. After lunch, the Moon is sextile Uranus and we’re in our roller coaster mode and moving along at light speed. This is going to be a super busy Christmas shopping day. And it’s chock full of surprises but also with some good aspects. A day has major ups and downs. Just remember, we’re in the shadow of the Lunar Eclipse that takes place on the 21st, so people’s emotions are running high and hard to control. That eclipse kicks off at 29 Gemini, and we all know by now, that the 29th degree is the cosmic dustpan catching up with all our emotions we’ve been sitting on. Best to let them discharge now rather than risk being shot out of the cosmic cannon on the 21st. On one hand, you’ll find angel’s in your midst today but also the Grinch that stole Christmas, too. It’s a hodge podge mixture at best. Gemini/ Sagittarius are at the focus of today’s roller coaster energy. Stay loose, flexible and you’ll bob your way through the ups and downs with grace and ease.
December 17th is a testy day at best. First, Moon is trine Mars, so it makes it too easy for people to lose patience, get cranky, irritable and just plain pushy. Christmas shopping is going to make you feel like a Grinch. Moon is opposite Venus today and so you aren’t going to find what you’re looking for insofar as gifts for loved ones go. Or you will and the shoppers are not in a ho ho ho mood! It’s also a day of being honest with your loved one, friend or neighbor and asking for respect. If you like or love someone, you make compromises. And that is what this aspect is about: compromises. And there’s a “it’s my way or the highway,” kind of feel to the day with Mars around. If you have to shop today, bring your patience and sense of humor. And if you can’t, better to stay home on this day and count your blessings and make nice and loving phone calls to those you love. The Moon is in Taurus all day so they and Scorpios are at the brunt of this Christmas Grinch energy. Make your focus (because it’s the only thing you can control), to smile, to do a kindness for someone today, to listen fully to what they re saying. This is a Compassion TEST DAY. I know you can pass the test :-)!!
Hi Everyone This is a jarring, chaotic day to say the least! Best try to be flexible. People are grumpy and irritable. If you’re driving, watch out for road rage. Stay alert. And try to practice patience today although there’s little around. People are going to be aggressive and confrontational today. Politicians and politics around the world are bubbling over and there’s a lot of chaos and battling going on. Keep a smile on your face and it will work wonders for those who are feeling Mars and Pluto leaning on them today. Keep the Holiday spirit alive and well.
Sunday, December 12th and Moon is in secretive, hidden fishy Pisces all day. I warned everyone about the coming conjunct of transiting Mars with transiting Pluto. Major transformations. Already, the Minneapolis Metrodome stadium roof has collapsed beneath snow…..THAT is a transformational event. More to come. Anyone with planets or Asc/ Desc around 4 Capricorn, be very, very careful and alert the next two days. Things usually happen when a planet is applying to the exact aspect, which means today, Sunday. More about this coming conjunction: We have the potential for VIOLENCE, rape, murder, attacks and assaults. The sign Capricorn is the focal point and by opposite sign, Cancer people are at greatest risk—be careful as you drive. Road ragers are out there. People go postal. Stay alert even through this entire weekend because it’s a build up to Monday, december 13 when it is conjunct. We are within the orb of influence from 11th onward. For some, this conjunction can be a much higher meaning and they will use this energy to transform themselves, like the mythic Phoenix bird. But I’m afraid the rest of the people in this world who are ‘asleep,’ won’t be able to take advantage of that end of it and will sink into the mire of war, assaults, attack, rage and destruction. For Sunday itself, we have Moon trine Venus, a day of the HEART chakra, for beautiful Venus is all about love in all levels. It’s a box of chocolates kind of day! It can mean anything from a smile to a kindness, consideration, helping others out of that love. It is a day of compassion. Start by being kind to yourself. And when the Cosmos brings others into your field of energy, think of a way to being loving toward them, too. This is a RUMI kind of day. The more that practice compassion today, the more it is like a scale that rebalances this awful Mars/Pluto energy hanging over us. A test of the heart. I know all of you can pass this. And in doing that you LIFT the vibration of the planet, one person at a time. Service with a SMILE today!
Friday, December 10, 2010 WALKING THE LAND, Sedona, Arizona: In Search of Bololokan's Path--the Snake’s Coiled Tail BLOG is up!
Hi Everyone For those who are following us and hopefully learning how to walk the land, my next blog is up at: http://talesfromechocanyon.blogspot.com/ I’ll be posting my buddy’s blog when she gets it to me. Enjoy!
Mercury retrograde today! Reverse energy. Trips bungle. Tongues trip. Minds produce brain farts. All for the next three weeks. Worse, any Holiday gifts bought from 12.10 through 12.29….the receiver won’t like. ARgh! Gift cards are a really GOOD idea this Christmas tide. Everyone like money. today, we are BUSY and hard a work in a hundred different multi-tasking ways. The good news is the energy is optimisic and most people are more happy than disgruntled. There’s a sweet edge to the day thanks to Mercury sextile Venus because you’ll hear from someone you love today either by email or by phone.
Thursday, December 9. Can you feel the “war” between Uranus having just gone direct on Sunday and Mercury going retrograde tomorrow? I’ve been telling people I feel like a bb bounced around in a boxcar, haha. And yet, through it all, I’ve accomplished some pretty major things this week as I’m sure many of you have too. It’s like trying to eat in a ship heaving around in a storm. But you get it done :-). With these two warring energies creating mighty chaos in the cosmos around the world today, the Moon is in fixed and airy Aquarius. Things will move along. The Moon is square Venus in the morning and is the only aspect for the day, so it rules. Moon is our emotions. Venus is what we love and like. With a square we’re all, more or less, going to be challenged by someone we like or love today. The only question then is: how will we handle it? Will we do a knee jerk, immature reaction or will we utilize our maturity to try and bring compassion to the event/action or reaction? People just aren’t in a happy frame of mind. It’s a day where you love chocolate but you can’t have a piece. Something you love or ardently are passionate (Venus) about is being denied you in some way or form. And that makes for an unhappy camper. Some door to something that you love or aspire to do, will be shut firmly in your face today. And if that occurs, then realize that if one door shuts, another will soon open up. If you’re traveling today, it isn’t going to be pleasant. Chances of being late or sitting on the tarmac are great. Put on your Zen State of Mind and remind yourself: this too will end. Turn your grumpy state into one of compassion. What or who in your life could use a smile, a pat on the back, some kinds words or actions? Remember, a square is either a stumbling block OR building block. Practicing compassion toward another or others today is taking the higher road and you’ll feel good at the end of the day.
Moon in Capricorn. Mars crashes into that sign today. Lots of energy, vitality, anger and irritability. Which will you choose to utilize, I wonder? Busy day with short trips in the offing. Emails/ phone calls will avalanche many of us. A day of hard work with Moon square Saturn. Sobriety, somber, reflective. This is December 7th, Pearl Harbor day. Let’s remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. Let’s salute those who experienced the attack. All our veterans from WW2 deserve our respect and admiration today.
December 5, Sunday, Uranus goes direct. It’s like a huge blimp popping. Think Hindenburg size here. The day also is underscored and supported by the New Moon that occurs at 13 Sagittarius today, too. Traditionally, this is a time of planting new seeds. With Uranus going direct, pay attention to any ideas you get. …They could be near genius. Epiphany’s are being sprinkled out of the cosmos into many of us. There may be some major world drama that occurs today. And it may send a jangle throughout the countries of the globe. Earthquakes are a major possibility but so is an air crash or an attack by enemies. We’ve already had two airliners slide off the runway due to snow in the last 72 hours and a crash of a Russian jet, as Uranus turns direct. Stay loosey-goosey today, flexible and you’ll be the cosmic cork on the ocean, transcending the noise of this planet leaping forward.
FRIDAY. Look out for major accidents! Mars is square Uranus and this doesn’t bode well for airplanes and automobiles. Gemini/Sagittarians and Virgo/Pisces are targeted the most. For people, stay focused. If you get distracted today, you will have an accident. At noon, PST, the energy changes with Moon trine Jupi…ter. After a rugged start in the morning, the optimism is back. If you get in an accident, Jupiter is there like a guardian angel to make it less traumatic than it could have been. Moon is in Scorpio and our emotional intensity sets the tone for each of us. Surprises abound; some of them quite good or shall I say, “interesting?” High stress half the day. Watch your words and actions; take a compassionate reaction or action, instead. War drums beat today for North and South Korea.
