May 17, Tuesday. It’s the Full Moon in 26 Scorpio today. Scorpio and Taurus folks are the target of this energy, although we’re all influenced by it. The heaviness of water is felt through 10:22 a.m., when we’re freed from it. The Moon happily moves into fiery and light hearted Sagittarius who is more than willing to gallop madly around the cosmic block, unfettered by deeper emotional work. We’re still hampered by some Neptunian wobble with Moon square Neptune near lunch time, PDT. Forgetfulness, spaciness, lack of boundaries or drive are all still a rollover from yesterday. Most of the day will be like this until near quitting time, PDT. Make the most of it by listening to your gut hunch and inner voice to unweave this Neptunian gordian knot. If you hear gossip or any statement that seems surprising or out of the ordinary, wait. Don’t buy it. If important to you, research it out more until the facts are clarified. Fraud, schemes, lies and half truth embellishments tinge the air today. Who to believe? Who NOT to believe? Get the facts. Or suspend judgment or a decision until tomorrow. The energy is certainly more playful in Sagittarius. But the weight of the Full Moon when the tides of our blood are at their peak can make a foolish combination. People tend to be far less serious in Sagittarius, so the push-pull of the full moon versus the playboy of the zodiac ensues. You can’t be either/or here. Assume your responsibility, remain mature and accept the loads you must continue to carry. Those who don’t do this will hit the proverbial brick wall because the full moon energy lasts for two weeks. Work today. Play later. The last aspect is Moon trine Uranus. We go from cosmic water clown of Neptune to hard edged, biting and abrupt Uranus, the planets of shocks, trauma and surprises. With a trine, it will mean the ease of surprises is upon all of us. Given the Neptunian nature of yesterday and most of today, I would not be looking for a nice surprise. More like a opening a Jack-in-the-Box. The box of chocolates may turn out to be chocolate covered ants. Such is the bizarre and distorted nature of Uranus. If weird visits your door today, just chalk it up to two really off-the-wall days pushed by the full moon. Tomorrow, things get more stable and fixed, I promise.

Monday. A decidedly Neptune day. Moon in intense and focused but watery Scorpio where all our unconscious contents come to the surface to be worked with. Mercury conjunct Venus in the early morning hours promised a deep night’s sleep. Upon rising Mercury sextile Neptune as we had morning coffee. Did you have strange, distorted or confusing dreams? Many did. Don’t try to sort them out; they will vaporize or congeal in the day ahead in some way to be more clear than when you had it. Today is a spacy day ruled by Neptune. Best to switch to your intuition and be guided by that, rather than to figure out this day. Like water spilled across a table top, Neptune has no boundaries. See where this mystical planet takes you today. Be the cork on the ocean and see what Neptune wants to show us or to teach us. Meditation is a very good idea today. It can help put you back in your body. If we aren’t “home” we can’t receive the info or knowledge or even the voice of our own intuition fully. Trust yourself today. Trust your inner voice, your own inner planner and see where it leads you. A highly creative day. A day to connect with the Cosmos in a significant way. Later, Mercury conjuncts with Venus. A day of travel to see friend or loved one. Or to hear from them via email or phone call. This is a test day in some ways. A test to see if we will practice compassion instead of dropping into our lower three chakras. Look for a way to practice compassion today. It can be as simple as a smile toward someone. Your fixed routine is no longer available thanks to Neptune’s powerful influence today. We all get to practice mutability and flexibility. Don’t fight it or the day will be absolutely miserable. This is a trust in the cosmos day and working with our own inner gyroscope.

Sunday, May 15. The Moon is in watery and intense, focused Scorpio. Do you feel an energy shift? Mercury and Venus are now 0 degrees of the earth sign, Taurus. With so many planets in Aries the last couple of months, things have been coming at us at the speed of light. Overwhelming to many. Hard to take in as a result. With Mercury and Venus in Taurus, things slow down. We now get to DIGEST our experiences and get the time to assimilate and integrate them. Good news indeed. I felt like an Indy car driver the last two months. Phew! This is a busy day aspect wise and that translates into a busy day for us, too. There are many oppositions today and that means things come to a head, decisions are made and a direction is chosen. These include Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter. With that mix it could mean phone calls, short trips, and plenty of communication. People flying will arrive on time. The only fly in the ointment is Moon opposed Mars at 3:08 p.m., PDT. This is about losing one’s temper, becoming impatient, irritated and angry. Try to use this energy productively for a positive outcome, instead. You can get angry, but look how you can turn it into ACTION that will benefit, not harm. The last aspect of the day is Moon sextile Pluto. And with Pluto being Scorpio’s ruler, you know this is going to be a very intense and focused day. No matter what you choose to set your sites on, you’ll get it done, fixed or moved. A great day to remodel, put in a garden, fix something that has been broken, paint a room. Or….go play!

May 14, Moon is in balanced and airy Libra. Two planets are at 29 degrees today: Mercury and Venus. This is what I call “tying up loose ends” day…but it’s on an emotional playing field. And this is punctuated by Moon conjunct Saturn. So, it’s a day of karma for those who may have resisted to tried to side step an emotional wound or situation in the past…it comes up today. With Mercury, it is a phone call, an email or letter that will get your attention. With Venus, it is a friend or a relative that you’re having to deal and work with. Either way, its dues paying time today. What you owe, you should pay to the other person. This is going to affect Aries the most, Librans secondly. The rest of us may or may not have issues in this area. It’s important with Aries energy not to jump the gun or make a decision before you carefully think it through. Aries isn’t known for this, but today, they should strive to do the Saturn thing—slow down, digest it completely and then, make a decision. Libra moons are always lighter, but with this Saturn aspect, people can become depressed. If you have a friend or relative who you know has depression, days like this are like hell on them. Give them a call or if you can, drop by for lunch or a visit. Do something to distract them and maybe, we a ‘witness’ to hear what is bothering them. In that way, the depression may be lightened because ‘giving voice’ to what sends us in a downward spiral is often liberating. For some, this is a wonderful, creative day with good results. Get out your sketch pad, your camera, your paints or colored pencils. Go sit with a tree and draw. Or go dance around your yard or in a park. Libra is about rhythm and dance. And dancing is an incredibly and uplifting thing to do for yourself. Go play with the intent that you will release what you don’t want to any longer carry today. Be a poppy in the breeze. Dance about! Bend, wave and be in beat with the unseen wind that is your partner. Serious, Cosmic play. Make Saturday a play day for at least an hour out of your hammered schedule. Time out.

May 13, Friday the 13th….a lucky day! The Moon is in Libra as of 8:56 a.m., PDT. Numerologically 13 is a 1+3 = 4. It’s a 4 day or a Saturn day. That’s probably why many people think it’s “unlucky,” because the karma they’ve drawn manifests in front of them or around them on that day. Any ‘4’ day will reap the same. Somewhere in medieval Europe something bad happened to someone and it “stuck.” So, 4, 13 and 22 (plus other numbers when you go from a compound number to a basic number) are a “4” or Saturn energy. This is a day full of surprises. With Venus and Mercury conjunct in Aries, it’s more than likely a pleasant one. Either communication coming from someone to you, or perhaps an epiphany or a call that will make you smile. Remain flexible and reap the benefits of the Uranian energy that is loosed upon us. Those of fixed signs won’t have it as easy. In the evening, Moon squares Pluto and I would say be careful driving. Road rage, bullies and people who feel insecure but throw out a large aggressive shadow in front of them, are out and about—and acting out. If you run into this person or situation, a quiet voice, firmness and sometimes retreat, is the better part of valor. Some may hear a decision from higher ups today that will surprise them. With the Mercury/Venus blessing in Aries, and Libra being the opposite sign, it’s not going to be as bad as one first thought. It’s also a day to be in a spontaneous mood. If you can do that, you’ll receive the most of this energy today in a good way. Be a “cork o the ocean” today and you’ll float through the chaotic energy just fine.

May 12, Thursday. The Moon is in Virgo all day. Transiting Mars is now in earthy Taurus and the knock-em-dead energy should slow down to that of a plodding plow horse instead of a race horse. That’s good news because it gives us a ‘time-out’ to assimilate and digest and then integrate what we’ve been hammered with since January of 2011. Phew. As if to agree with this new strategy, Mars is sextile Neptune today, a kind of laid back, creative, spacy, dreamy kind of day, instead. What a shift and change! Many people won’t want to work, the call of the out doors, whether a walk in a park, a serious hike, sitting by a pond of water feeding the duckies or just ‘being’ is powerful. This is a day of incomparable creativity. And meditation is going to awesome, too. Take time out, if you can, to do exactly that: rest and relax. Dream. Envision you in a better future, possibly. On the down side, a day of utter confusion, problems with spam, fraud and falling for phishing. Be watchful of all of this on Facebook and via emails. You can get sucked in without realizing it. The Moon trines the Sun in the evening just before the luminary goes void-of-course. There is a pleasant and upbeat, happy sense around all of us today. As if things are in alignment and humming right along without too much input from us. It’s an “in-the-Flow” day when all seems ‘right’ in your individual world. Enjoy this respite. We’ve earned it and we need it. A Cosmic vacation day.
